So it has become apparent that people actually follow my ramblings online, no less than 4 people (wow! count em) have been nagging me to update my site. Now I’m quite flattered that people would want to read what I write or might even look forward to what i might write next!!

So hello Kate (my girlfriend) Q (The Evil Genius) Twinksy AKA Davisine the swine AKA Chris Davies, and also erm… hi Mum!!

So then two weeks into my new job how do I feel, well I have to say its had it ups and downs. On the up side so far is having artworkers, I no more have to worrying about print issues – trained highly skilled people are backing me up, I work with a great team, knowing i’m one step away from working on some big brands rather than them being completely out of reach, having a great computer stacked with RAM and a loverly new 21 inch flat screen apple display. All these things contribute to me feeling very positive about my move

Mmm but on the downside, I feel completly at sea. Having worked at my last job for 6 years I was totally embedded with the clients the company and my collegues, plus it was a small tight knit company so going to 200+ employees sized company has been quite a culture shock. I’m feeling so far out of the loop it’s rediculous, as everyone makes decisions on stuff I have no basis or experience to form an opinion on!. Creatively I’m back to proving myself again, winning hearts and minds and proving I can make a valuable contribution, just on a much more professional stage. Its at the same time both totally intimidating and very exciting.

Anyway on the double plus side me and Neil went to check out the local skatepark in South Moulton and it absolutley rules!! when it dries up lunchtime sessions will be in full effect… hopefully I can still skate and wont break any thing!!!
