Well well The Met Office has been predicting a cold winter this year!!! So after the media seemed to work itself into a frenzy over a few bits of frozon water that “might” fall overnight, I wasn’t at all surprised when I woke up at 7 ish looked out the window to see the same old grey winter scene. An hours sleep later and suddenly that same view had turned into a winter wonderland complete with stranded traffic and full on blizzards. Rarely do we see snow here in the mild climes of North Devon so it was quite an event. I felt that same pang of childish excitement I’ve had since I can first remember seeing snow. Even tho as i write this its all turned to slush puppy mush it was quite an eventful day with no less than 5 people not making it into work, stranded skidding traffic and exstatic kids running home in the snow from closed schools!!

I hope we get more!!!

On other stuff tonight me kate lee ben lianne are off to the theater to see Mark Thomas and Paul Newman should be interesting!!!
