Just to clear it up I had NO SAY in the decision to replace me, the three other band members met at Richards (AKA Dick Van Death) house and decided my fate for me!!! It was not a mutal decision!

I wasn’t majorly bothered by this – why you ask? in short i didn’t really contribute to the music in any way!!!

After playing with these guys for over 18 months you soon get to realise that the band should be re-named “Toby and The Miscreants”. I’m no way having a dig at Mr Toby tease himself, I know what its like to have a vision for your band, but unfortunatly when as a bass player your effectively asked to play this and this only, you begin to crave for writing the new stuff.

In the time that I was with the band we wrote 2 new songs but had countless jams that were never capitalised on, you’d have to ask Toby why?

I think when it comes to musical differences, yes we did have them but our musical matrixs crossed healthiliy and if only the creative vice like grip was released the band would have evolved maybe not to Tobies absolute vision but to something new and exciting!!

If poorly emulating your heroes is a musical direction, I’m glad they made their decision.
